If you plan on racing: long sleeve top, long pants with closed shoes and your own helmet. You will need to have your car scrutineered before you are allowed to race, this includes checking for oil leaks, making sure your wheel nuts are tight enough and a few other safety checks!
Drivers are not allowed to drink at ALL(you will be band from racing on the night).

Bmw’s sixth generation 5-series almost in South Africa.
The BMW 5series saloon is almost here. Codenamed the F10, this is BMW’s sixth generation 5series and will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in spring 2010, with South Africa seeing it hit the market in May 2010. A 5series Touring version (F11) will follow next December.

New BMW Concept revealed at Frankfurt Motor Show
BMW is on a roll, again! Revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, was BMW’s new, SUPER-HOT concept, the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept. The new concept’s drive train is a plug-in hybrid with a three-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Visualised with the idea of melding the performance of an M3 with extremely low fuel consumption, BMW claims a 0-100Km/h time of 4.8 seconds, whilst producing a sneaky 26.6 km/l

Audi introduce the new Audi R8 Spyder
With an air of excitement mixed with a sense of inevitability, Audi unveiled the convertible, or Spyder, version of its R8 supercar at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Thanks to both weight and, no doubt, engineering issues, the R8 Spyder doesn’t feature a folding metal roof, just a mechanically operated cloth top.

Kimi Raikkonen will be taking a break from F1 racing
The Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat reported last week that ex-Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen will be taking a sabbatical from F1 racing next year.
Kimi’s talks with McLaren, after his forced exit from Ferrari that he’ll only race, had led to him saying that he’ll only be racing in a car that is capable of winning grand prix.
