This weekend was another belter for the Automodified crew. We experienced some excitement on Sunday as the Killarney track in Cape Town came alive with the sound of various racers strutting their skills and rides in the monthly open track day. Lamborghini has announced its plan to build lighter cars, and that means more carbon fiber and carbon composites. The stampede bull is already deep into the stuff, with the Murcielago replacement swapping out the Murcielago steel frame for one made of carbon fiber, and the same with the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera.
