This weekend was another belter for the Automodified crew. We experienced some excitement on Sunday as the Killarney track in Cape Town came alive with the sound of various racers strutting their skills and rides in the monthly open track day. As the team has regrettably not seen the track in a few months, we were privileged to witness a few new riders burning some rubber. Track days have definitely taken a step up in the last couple of months, as excitement and interest has boomed. We were very pleased by the the great turn out – so many enthusiasts came out in full force, but so did a lot of like-minded new comers to the scene. Motor sport in Cape Town seems to be booming and thanks to the help of Killarney, many new racers have the opportunity to experience the full rush of being behind the wheel on a VERY decent track. Be sure to join us on the next track day where we’ll hopefully be privileged enough to have one of our team members burning some rubber.
