The fourth round of the Western Cape main circuit championship at Killarney on Saturday is going to have competitors scanning the mid-winter skies during the next few days, as they prepare for the possibility of a wet track.
Inclement weather is always a great leveler. Fast cars lose a measure of their muscular kilowatt advantage, with sheer driving skill (and a good set of wet weather tyres), taking over as more important factor…s in any winning strategy. And of course for those who do …
This is a short film about a guy that is having problems with his wife and turns to his Nissan S13 Silvia for a bit of alone time. For a short film this one is definitely worth watching, the background music is way cool as well. If I had to rate this little drift clip out of 10 it would get a rating of 7smoked tyres.

This whole stance thing is really taking off these day, I was at park off lastnight and noticed so many cars with stance stickers. So being my normal self I decided to look around to see what pictures of Stanced cars I could find.
Of course you get some hot looking cars in stance mode!! Getting your cars stance nailed is what its all about. Get it right, and your get respect and can even get laid, well don’t exactly quote me on that, but hey you never know.

Drifting in South Africa is growing at a amazing rate and just like any other form of motorsport you want to start from a young age that is exactly what this teenager is doing. This week we managed to catch up with one of South Africa’s youngest professional drifters, Jason Webb.
AM: Howzit Jason, thanks for putting some time aside to do this interview with us. Can you quickly tell us what age you started getting involved in Motorsport?
Webb: I think it was from the day I was born my dad …
This week we gave the guys on Facebook an option between blondes or brunettes and Japanese or European for this weeks installment of the Midweek Eye Candi section. The response was not as expected we really only had one vote which was SHOCKING! Never the less we delivered, so here is this weeks choice for the Midweek eye candi.. Hope you guys enjoy.
Over the weekend it was the National Drags event. Being an avid supporter I decided to attend the event at Killarney, I was lucky enough to received an Alpinestars cap from the WPMC. Being the Peak Cap collector that I am, I have now added my new Alpinestars cap to my collection.. Thanks again guys.
I wonder what ill be receiving next?
Finally I had a chance to do that long awaited interview with one of Cape Town’s BIGGEST car clubs, Team Autopunks. They are a local based car club, hosting “show and shines” and “sound offs”. I even had a chance to judge at some of their events and I must say, hospitality, that’s their main focus! Club owner, Grant De Stadler finally spared 5 minutes of his time to get down with AM.
JK : Who and what is Team Autopunks all about?
Grant : We a local Cape Town based …
I realise that this is a bit of a delayed blog, but rather late than never right….
The Cape Town leg of the Pro Tour event was amazing, I have to say that the Wesbank Super Series and Pro Tour are by far my favourite racing events on our racing calender.
This year i was so excited about seeing these race cars pedal around Killarney that I actually forgot to take pictures so i quickly made a duck to the pit lane for the 2nd last race of the day and took …
I unfortunately I was unable to attended the National Drags that took place at Killarney race track over the weekend, but luckily we were sent video clips of Saturdays National Drag event.
A friend of mine Tim was telling me about one of the drag cars popping his intake manifold on the line, you can see clearly in the video that something came flying through the front grill.
Also in the mix is a BMW E30 that looses control on pull off and ends up heading straight for the pit wall.
The next …
