Streetmod Motorshow – Event Coverage
I took some time off from my hectic schedule to make a turn at the annual Streetmod Motorshow over the weekend. Thanks to Marlize Hoon for dragging me along.
This event took place at the Good Hope Centre and was one promising one not to be missed by all petrolheads. Once again the Mother City’s modfathers and sisters didn’t disappoint the crowd.

The main floor was packed with some awesome metal ranging from some of the hottest hotrods to Cape Town’s finest modified mobiles. The basement was allocated to the car clubs and once again the support was very impressive. Outside in the parking area the guys of D1S impressed the crowd with their drifting skills and also gave some peeps a free slide of their lives. It was good to see how relaxed everyone was and for a change I had some time just to sit back and admire the work of art.
Well done to Zabby and crew for pulling off another awesome event. I think you guys must consider a bigger venue as the Cape Town car culture is growing at a rapid speed!
Until next year…God Bless!!!!
