With Killarney playing host to the first round of the 2012 F1X National MSA Drag racing championship, exciting entries have already been received from some top car and motorcycle competitors. This weekend was the 1st official practice at the WPMC. It was quite the awesome turn out of cars, it looks like this years 2012 season is going to rock. This is the Porsche GT2RS that races in Sports cars, its definitly one of my favourite cars that race at Killarney.Zack Groenewald Chevy performed like a boss last year, the car was thrown sideways around the track and still managed to pull a respectable time.

I took some time off from my hectic schedule to make a turn at the annual Streetmod Motorshow over the weekend. Thanks to Marlize Hoon for dragging me along. This event took place at the Good Hope Centre and was one promising one not to be missed by all petrolheads. Once again the Mother City’s modfathers and sisters didn’t disappoint the crowd.

These days cars are looking hotter and hotter in their OEM state. Take for example this Ford Focus RS, its got the standard trimings, but an aftermarket set of rims that have been resprayed Frozen Blue with the mirrors to match and a set of coilovers. Now lets be honest, that looks totally awesome just as is, right?
