This weekend hosted a few events across the Cape and we selected to go drift at the Saldanha West Coast Festival of speed with the Dr1ft Squad.

SA Hot Rods held a car show at Killarney and Justin Schenck from Cape Motorsport manage to capture the days action for those of you that could not make it. Some of the cars on show behind the new pit area were complete Hot Rod Porn. There was a Monster Energy Drink stand that catered for the Rugby enthusiasts and were serving cold beers all day long for the thirsty crowds!

So a couple weeks back was the SA Hot Rods Festival at Killarney, Justin managed to take some amazing shot of the cars and some of the guys drifting around the oval. I’m a sucker for HD drift video clips, I would have to say I’m guilty of using at least 60% of my monthly ADSL cap on watching HD motorsport video clips. Last night I came across this video clip on the Driftworks website. This is a short film from the 4th round of the British Drift Championships at The Hill. The Sound Track in the HD film just makes the clip that much more dramatic as well! Check it out if you want to be inspired.
