Track day memories – Killarney Action

I was browsing through a bunch of old albums on my laptop from “back in the day” and i came across some cool pics of the track days me and my mates took part in at Killarney on the weekends!
In all honesty participating in an open Track day is most probably the best bit of driving experience you could ever have (obviously excluding things you do with your significant other while driving)!
There is no doubt in my mind that the track days we attended always left us SMILING!
Here’s to memories!
The Italian Stallion Angelo making sure everything is looking good and tightened down! Track days are taken very seriously and many safety regulations have to be respected when attending days like these.. You don’t want to put your or other lives in danger any way!
Batteries need to be secured Oil caps fastened tightly and so on.
If you have ever thought about doing a track day, stop thinking and find out when the next one is scheduled. I promise you, it wont be something you’ll regret!
Track days are normally run at the beginning of the month when people generally have spare money to splash.
After looking through some of these images we will definitely be hitting the WPMC open track day very soon!
Here’s an idea; Get all your friends with big mouths down to the track with their cars and settle some scores.
Till then guys drive safe out there!

ya back in th day my corsa b gave all you veedubs a hiding! Now all of you are running 2l or turbo’s! All 2 beat a lil OPEL! Lmfao!

Brings back good memories hey.. Us meeting early at the 7-11 only to realise we are like the last to arrive
then cruising through in convoy and getting there and making a MESS!!
i remember taking Chris out in session to and almost writing us off into corner 2 cos the semis weren’t heated up properly!
i think there’s still a skid mark on my seat from him… lol

Theres actually regionals this weekend which means there should be an open day the following weekend… although this raining weather myt make for some interesting races :p

Jst had a look, seems trackdays are end of each month… they start at 2pm till 6pm. Dates are 27 June, 11 July, 29 August, 26 October, 28 November and 12 December for 2010. Definitely recomend doing a track day for everyone, its a hell of alot of fun! Girls urged to come show us boys what you got…
