BMW

Unlike the Italian carrozzerie, BMW drew its landmark concepts in-house at Munich. Under Paul Bracq in the early 1970s that studio produced the Turbo — a mid-engined, gullwing safety showcase that pointed straight at the M1 — while Bracq and his successors shaped the road cars that defined the marque. These are BMW's design statements.
